Macrobond 1020

Macro Bond 1020Coimbatore-based manufacturer, Marco Print Engineers India (MPEI) had launched its Macrobond Sheet Master 1020 (30 inch x 40 inch) fully  automatic thermal laminating machine with hot water circulating heat technology in 2008. The machine was exhibited by MPEI at a global platform during Drupa 2008. It was later upgraded to provide a combination of thermal and wet lamination along with auti-feeder and auto-sheetre. Managing director, P . Veeramuthu, says: “Over the past five years more and more printers have been bringing laminating in-house in an effort to save money and generate new income streams. Automation of the machine has been designed keeping in mind the lack of skilled labour and lady personnel engaged on the shopfloor.”

Combo lamination: thermal and wet. The machine is capable of handling jobs in the size ranging from a minimum 300x20mm to a maximum of 1020x760mm for a paper range of 90-650 gsm.It has a vaccum table conveyor for accurate feeding and adjustable de-curl bar for different thickness of paper apart from an inline aheet separator. Veeramuthu says: “It provides thermal lamination at the speeds of 4,000 sheets per hour and wet lamination at 6,000 sheets per hour. The kit has a production capacity of 40 metres per minute ad is adoptable for films of up to even microns.” With a warm up time of 30 minutes the machine consumes 16KW power at a compressed air requirement of 250 to 350 litres per minute. The machine achieves a maximum operating temperature of 140 degrees through circilating oil or water as its heating elements.  “The spares and accessories incorporated in Macrobond Sheet Master 1020 are in collaboration with European companies, which are tested and proven in worldwide market,” adds Veeramuthu. The hot water circulating system is from Tool Temp Switzerland whereas the sensor is German made. The machine has a UK made variable drive to control the speed.

Remote Printing Capabilities

For businesses, having the right technology will ensure that employees are productive and the most efficient and economical methods are employed. This is certainly the case when it comes to office computers and the printing options. The use of remote desktop printing (RDP printing) is a solution that many businesses can take advantage. There are several different options when it comes to RDP usage, so it is just a matter of finding the solution that is right.

A printer that is attached to a local computer can easily be shared through remote desktop printing programs. Depending on the version of the operating system of the computer, there may be the ability to quickly and easily set up the RDP. In Windows computers, this is done through the Easy Share program. After a few simple steps, other computers on the business network will be able to see the printer and then utilize it.

If a more robust remote desktop printing program is needed, there are a number of different third party solutions that can be purchased. For a business that has many computers or is utilizing a main server, one of the RDP programs may be best. These programs come in a variety of different configures and can handle a small business or one that has a large number of computers. Getting the one that is best suited for the business will ensure that the right amount of features are included and the business is not paying for anything that is not essential.

For businesses that have computers or internet access for clients, RDP may be of great benefit. An example of where this would be perfect is in a hotel. With a remote desktop program, hotel guests would be able to easily print documents and emails remotely to a central printer. This is an amenity that can often set apart a business from the competition.

Remote desktop printing is convenient and generally quite easy for a business to set up. It can increase productivity, save money and give customers a nice perk. These can easily be set up in house or installed by an IT professional.
